I was awarded the K. C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad, a highly competitive and prestigious award granted to a select group of Indian students pursuing higher education at leading global universities. I was among the top 4.65% of applicants selected nationwide, reflecting a rigorous evaluation based on academic excellence, clarity of purpose, and demonstrated potential to contribute meaningfully to society. Being chosen as a Mahindra Scholar was a strong recognition of both my academic achievements and my long-term vision in structural engineering.
The scholarship was an interest-free loan of INR 4,00,000, which contributed toward supporting my Master’s studies at the University of Michigan. Beyond financial assistance, it connected me to a distinguished network of scholars and alumni across disciplines, offering a broader perspective on leadership, impact, and responsibility. The recognition and support from the K. C. Mahindra Foundation played an important role in enabling me to pursue advanced studies and further develop my research interests.
