I was awarded the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation’s Postgraduate Scholarship, a highly selective merit-based program that supports outstanding students pursuing graduate studies. I was one of 19 scholars chosen from a pool of over 11,000 applicants nationwide. The scholarship provided an interest-free loan of INR 20,00,000, which significantly supported my Master’s studies in structural engineering at the University of Michigan.
Beyond the financial support, the scholarship recognized academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to society. Being selected through a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process—including interviews and holistic assessment—was a strong validation of my academic journey and future aspirations. The support from the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation played a key role in enabling me to focus on my graduate education and research without financial constraints.
